While working as a youth advocate, Sterling realized that simply telling young people to “do right” was ineffective without changing their environments or resource access. In a pivotal moment, he chose to bring a group of youth to one of his theater rehearsals, exposing them to a completely different environment of focus and energy. This transformative experience led him to launch “Exposure to Love,” a program built on the principle that consistent exposure to positive frequencies and new experiences is what truly empowers young people to change their lives.
