PROVIDENCE, R.I. — September 21, 2026 — College Unbound announces a new partnership with Google’s AI Educator Series to support teachers and paraprofessionals with access to practical AI learning, with the capacity to support up to one million educators in this initiative.
Google’s new AI Educator Series, available for free to all K-12 and higher education U.S. educators, provides flexible AI training designed by educators, for educators, aligned with the International Society for Transforming Education (ISTE) standards. This series includes bite-sized learning modules designed to fit into an educator’s work day and offers official ISTE-aligned digital badges recognizing learners’ achievements.
Through the partnership, College Unbound will make college-level credit available for eligible Google AI Educator Series learning through the college’s Learning in Public Program (LIP). LIP recognizes learning that takes place outside traditional college classrooms and creates pathways for adult learners to translate prior learning and demonstrated competencies into college credit.
