The Student Experience
At College Unbound, your education is designed to work within your busy life, not against it. Whether you are balancing a job, family, or personal goals, CU’s flexible and community-based approach creates a supportive environment where you can thrive. From real-world projects to lifelong relationships, being a CU student means joining a movement for change—personal, family, and community change—is all within reach.
A Day in the Life of a CU Student
At CU, no two days are the same because learning is integrated into your life and work. Here’s what a typical day might look like for a CU student:
- During the Day: Spend time at work, caring for family, or tackling your personal commitments. College Unbound’s synchronous classes are held in the evenings online, and our asynchronous courses allow you to learn when it works for you.
- Evening: Participate in an in-person or virtual class led by faculty who connect academic course content to real-world practice. Work on your Core Change Project to address a challenge in the community you care about.
- Anytime: Log into CU’s learning management system to access course materials, submit assignments, engage with peers via a discussion board, or engage with your faculty. Learning happens wherever you are, whenever you are ready.
Build a schedule that fits your life, empowering you to integrate your work, life, and studies seamlessly.
