Applying to College Unbound
Each stage in the application process overlaps. You do not need to complete one section to move to the next.
Attend Open House/Info Session
Attend a virtual or in-person open house where you can learn more about College Unbound, speak to current students, alumni, and administrators, and gather application materials.
Apply
Submit your application, including contact, academic and employment info, learning interests questionnaire and statement of interest. You will receive a login to MyCU where you will then submit your high school/college transcripts, and writing sample. For more info., please see our Admissions Policy & Frequently Asked Questions.
Financial Aid
An advisor will reach out to you to help you complete your financial aid application and navigate cost of attendance through financial aid and scholarships. Click here for more info on Financial Aid.
Admissions Conversation
The one-on-one conversation will review program requirements and estimated time to completion, and review your comfort level with technology. Your first conversation will take place within thirty days of the submission of your application.
Orientation
You will learn more about the College Unbound approach to learning and meet with your lab faculty to develop your Personal Learning Plan. You will also have the opportunity to take CLEP exams for additional college credit.
